Gretchen Schlesinger worked on all sides of the publishing world before giving writing a real go. She lives outside of Chicago with her family. Her favorite (kids) movies are Sky High, and Something Wicked This Way Comes. Her favorite books growing up were the Nancy Drew Mysteries.

David Pietila is an illustrator as well as an animator. In David has worked on such shows as Magic School Bus, Rupert, Ace Ventura, Fox TV's The Ripping Friends and National Geographic's Iggy Arbuckle and the WB's Will and Dewitt. Some of his animation design experience includes the syndicated sci-fi series Roswell Conspiracies and Fisher-Price's Rescue Heroes.

Pre-production/Development projects David has worked on include Elliott the Moose for Pictor/Nelvana and Stez and Randy for MTV animation.
